Xtreme Legends y Empires estarán incluidos en la colección.
Tecmo Koei ha anunciado una remasterización de Samurai Warriors 2 y sus expansiones, Xtreme Legends y Empires, con el original nombre de Samurai Warriors 2 with Xtreme Legends & Empires HD Version para PlayStation 3 y PS Vita
Este recopilatorio incluye versiones en alta definición de los tres juegos, que sin embargo, ya habían sido lanzados con esta resolución en Xbox 360, por lo tanto se trata más de un interés por lanzar este juego en las consolas de Sony.
Llegará a Japón el 24 de octubre de forma conjunta y con una edición especial en PlayStation 3 -para PS Vita será sólo en distribución digital-. También estarán disponibles diferentes packs.
Samurai Warriors 2 y sus expansiones llegarán a PlayStation 3 y PS Vita.
Es la adaptación del clásico de SNK Playmore.
SNK Playmore ha anunciado que SAMURAI SHODOWN II ya está disponible para teléfonos y otros dispositivos Android y iPhone. Se trata de una adaptación a la pantalla táctil de su juego de lucha clásico, lanzado para máquinas recreativas en 1994 y adaptado a multitud de otras plataformas en los últimos años.
Esta versión para Android y iPhone es «exacta» a la versión recreativa, según SNK, y añade nuevas funciones. Mantiene el control arcade con 4 botones, pero permite también disponer 6 botones y usar un botón especial que permite realizar ataques complicados más fácilmente. Incluye también multijugador vía Bluetooth.
El juego está disponible para iPhone, iPod Touch y iPad desde el iOS 5.0, y para Android desde el sistema operativo 2.3.3. En ambas tiendas digitales cuesta en torno a 9 euros.
