El baloncesto llega a la nueva generación con uno de los juegos más vendidos de los últimos tiempos, al menos en sus versiones de PS3 y Xbox 360, amén de PC. Y ahora que NBA 2K14 da el salto a la nueva generación, podríamos pensar que se han currado un ‘port’ y ya está, cambiando dos cosillas y fuera. Pero no.
El trabajo de 2K ha sido realmente superlativo, muy en consonacia con el realizado por Electronic Arts en FIFA 14 que tabmbién se ha trabajado un motor nuevo y prueba de ello es que jugar en PS3 o Xbox 360 y luego hacerlo en PS4 o Xbox One es un salto demasiado grande. Tanto como la distancia gráfica y, también, de opciones del engine Eco-Motion.
Para empezar, NBA 2K14 incluye dos modos nuevos que son en realidad evoluciones de los que ya había en PS3 y Xbox 360: Mi Jugador se convierte en Mi Carrera y La Asociación en Mi GM (General Manager) pero profundizando muchísimo más con algunas novedades como el motor de diálogos o la posibilidad de que la carrera de nuestro protagonista siga después, incluso, de retirarse como jugador profesional.
Obviamente luego tendremos el NBA Today, con las estadísiticas actualizadas casi al minuto, o los concursos de mates y triples típicos del All Stars Weekend que se celebra todos los años en la NBA (el próximo será en Nueva Orleans del 13 al 17 de febrero) y que cuentan con un divertido estilo de control que parece sacado del mismísimo Guitar Hero.
Las versiones de PS4 y Xbox One de NBA 2K14, a diferencia de las de PS3 y Xbox 360, vendrán ya con las voces en castellano dentro del disco por lo que no tendréis que andar canjeando un código para descargarlos. Más fácil.
