Hola, pues dice el refrán que a falta de pan, buenas son tortas, así que tortas son las que traigo, ya que Activision no nos da pan (ni nos lo va a dar) en forma de actualizaciones del COD2.
La comunidad se está currando un MOD (cuentan con soporte de Activision e Infinity, pero es un proyecto de la comunidad) que se llama Remember September, en resumen:
Remember September is a modification for Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty 2. Remember September is based on the battlefields during Operation Market Garden in the Netherlands and Belgium in September 1944. The operation was planned by the Allied forces to secure their way into Germany, to end the World War rapidly. But the operation didn’t go as they had planned. The German resistance was underestimated and resulted in thousands of Allied wounded and deaths. Remember September symbolizes this battle, supported by indepth study of the environment, army compositions, traditions and historical facts.
Some options which will be featured in the first version of Remember September:
• Intense battles, from the Belgian border up to Eindhoven
• Interact with the environment, Dutch civilians and coorporate within your squad to achieve your objectives
• All locations are authentic and realistic, supported by the engine of Call of Duty 2 and reference material of the actual location
• Interaction between the development team and the community, to meet the desires of the playing community
• All new textures, models, skins and weapons.
